Essex & Suffolk Sauna
Essex & Suffolk Sauna is the trading name used for the operation of private sauna and cold plunge sessions at the booking location.
By making a booking, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings & Payment
All sessions must be booked in advance.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session.
The person making the booking (the “Lead Booker”) is responsible for ensuring that all members of their group are aware of and agree to these Terms.
2. Private Hire & Responsibility
All sessions are private hire.
An on-site host will welcome you and provide an introduction to the facilities. Once your session begins, guests are responsible for their own safety and conduct.
The on-site host is not responsible for supervising guests during their session.
The Lead Booker accepts responsibility for the behaviour and safety of all members of their group.
Essex & Suffolk Sauna reserves the right to refuse entry or end a session if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
3. Arrival & Late Entry
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times.
Guests arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time will not be permitted entry.
Late arrival does not entitle guests to an extension of their session or a refund.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Bookings may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of the session start time are not eligible for refund or transfer.
Failure to attend without notice will result in forfeiture of the session.
Refunds are not provided unless Essex & Suffolk Sauna cancels the booking.
5. Health & Medical
Use of the sauna and cold plunge is undertaken entirely at your own risk.
If you have any medical condition, are taking medication, or are unsure whether heat or cold exposure is suitable for you, you should consult your GP before booking.
Sauna and cold immersion are not permitted during pregnancy.
By booking, you confirm that you and all members of your group have considered your personal health circumstances before attending.
6. Assumption of Risk
Guests acknowledge that sauna bathing, cold water immersion, fire pit use and outdoor environments involve inherent risks, including but not limited to burns, slips, falls, dizziness and dehydration.
By attending, you voluntarily accept these risks.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.
7. Safety & Conduct
Guests must:
Avoid touching hot surfaces, including the sauna stove and fire pit
Take care on wet or uneven surfaces
Remain hydrated
Sit on a towel inside the sauna
Follow recommended time limits for sauna and cold plunge use
Alcohol or intoxicating substances must not be consumed prior to or during use of the facilities.
Glass bottles or glassware are not permitted within the sauna or cold plunge areas.
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the sauna or cold plunge.
Nudity is not permitted.
8. Damage & Personal Property
The Lead Booker accepts responsibility for any damage caused to the facilities by themselves or members of their group.
Essex & Suffolk Sauna accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings.
9. Weather
Sessions operate in most weather conditions.
Essex & Suffolk Sauna reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions in extreme or unsafe conditions. In such cases, an alternative date will be offered.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
